Volunteering and giving has not always come easily to me. It wasn't until I joined the Army and truly served people that I began to understand what it meant. Now when people thank me for my service, I tell them it was my honor and I would do it again. I still look for ways to serve, but this time, I am serving hyper locally. These organizations all have something to offer our local community and I am proud to help support them by being on their boards.
